You can think of First Congregational Church as a group of people "doing life together." We are a faith community on a journey, people with a shared mission - and we hope that your life will be enriched through your involvement, so that together we can bring hope and healing to our world in these exciting times.

Community Versus Place

Many who come to First Congregational are filled with hurt or longing not met in other faith communities.  Here they find openness and acceptance that is a reflection of Christ's love.

Because doctrine can be a division, we only ask that you follow Christ's two commandments to love God and to love one another, wholly and completely.

Those who come to First Congregational experience loving acceptance.  If you have have been rejected by another community, you are welcome here.  If you can't believe the religion taught to you as a child but still want a loving relationship with God, here is your home.  If there are barriers to your relationship with God, then we wish to be with you in loving compassion.

Based on the principles of the Pilgrims we are a covenant community bound in ties of fellowship and mutual support.
